He grown in 2017, of 16.791t/ha with this he has beat his previous record crop.
Mr. Watson said that, he has continuously struggled to improve his growing. And on usual, irrigated wheat crops in New Zealand produce about 12t/ha.
By trying new cultivars, switching to liquid nitrogen and monitoring plant health extra repeatedly, and that is the reason of his latest success.
Mr Watson worked with agronomists at Bayer Crop Science for both of his records.
